We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. This privacy policy explains what data is collected by the mobile application "MemoSpot" (the "App") and how it is used.

1. Data Collection

MemoSpot is designed to be as data-efficient as possible. We do not collect or store any of your personal data on our servers. All content you create is stored exclusively on your device locally.

a) Data Provided by You

Reminder texts and notes: All texts you enter for your MemoSpots.
Location data (Geofences): The geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) and the radius you select on the map to create location-based reminders.

This data is stored locally in a protected database on your device. We, the developers of MemoSpot, have no access to this content at any time.

2. App Permissions

Location Permissions: MemoSpot requires access to your device's location to enable the core functionality: triggering reminders when entering a set area (Geofencing).

Background Location Access (ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION): To ensure your reminders work reliably even when the app is closed or not in use, the app requires permission to access your location in the background. Your live location is never transmitted to us or stored permanently.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. To provide app features, we use services from Google Ireland Limited. This involves technical data exchange (e.g., IP address) for Google Maps, Places API, and Google Play Billing.

Hintergrund-Standortzugriff: Damit Ihre Erinnerungen auch funktionieren, wenn die App geschlossen ist, benötigt die App die Berechtigung, im Hintergrund auf Ihren Standort zuzugreifen. Ihr Live-Standort wird niemals an uns übertragen.
